I know, I know. I’m a bad blogger. What can I say? Facebook is where it’s at these days! Anyway, today we are snowed in. It’s Wisconsin and we’re used to this, but I also know enough to stay home. And the storm knocked out my TV.
I thought today was an appropriate day to share a collaborative project with one of my favorite wholesale clients, Driftless Studio. Owner Anne is a photographer and writer as well as a shop owner, so as you might be able to tell, she’s also supremely creative. She’s one of those people I love to work with… the kind that say, ‘I love this and this, can we put them together?!? And make it red and blue?’ And to that I say, ‘of course! I’ve been thinking about that for ages!’
The result is this awesome Wisconsin in winter card that has proven quite popular this season. I never did get it into the etsy shop, but shoot me a message and I’d be happy to get you some!
I hate the holiday rush as much as anyone (Christmas décor in July? Really?), but when you’re working with retailers, they’re ready to see Christmas cards by September or October, so I’ve had my collection printed for a couple months. I love Halloween too much to bum rush it with holiday announcements, but for all you early birds who have your cards in the mail by December 1, here you go!
Last year’s holiday cards were mostly hold-overs from 2010, but this year I’ve created a number of new designs. Find them all in the shop and keep up with the latest and greatest on facebook. And don’t forget to pick up some gift tags while you’re there!
Not a Dull Moment is a photography business run by California girl, Christina Viehoefer. The design process was very collaborative and we both feel like we came up with what suited her best. Plus, the cards printed up absolutely beautifully!
622 press is proud to offer congratulations cards for same sex couples in addition to our original congrats card! I’ve been working hard to print them in five different colors, all available in the shop. A special thanks to Madison’s Absolutely Art for placing the first order!
This weekend was a little bit like Christmas morning in the shop. I finally received my order of wood type and gave them a first inking! Lots of different designs will be coming soon (I’ve been thinking about this for months!), but in the mean time, here’s a sneak peak:
